How old is ahmed hassan from yard crashers
By he found himself hosting multiple shows and teaching television viewers all of what he knew, but in a way that was relatable and entertaining. The California native has spent most of his life in the Sacramento and greater Bay Area. He attributes his success in life to his many years of sobriety and the support and spiritual philosophy of his blended family. His entrepreneurial parents taught him the value of creating a business with the work you enjoy most. The connective thread through each stage of his life remains Agriculture, Construction, Improvements and Maintenance.
His legal name is Ahmad Hasan Hassan, pronounced Ahh-med. He is perhaps best recognized for his recurring appearances on Yard Crashers. He also hosted several seasons of Turf War.
Ahmed Hassan is a well known Reality Star. Ahmed was born on September 22, in California.. Ahmed is one of the famous and trending celeb who is popular for being a Reality Star. A big mistake, as far as, I am concerned. Ahmed is a hero to my son and my family. We watched the show faithfully and then Turf Wars, too. He talks about all the things he has learned from Ahmed and wants to do a landscaping service project when the time comes.
He was so good to my son, answering questions and taking pictures. We still talk about it. Ahmed, or Kelly, if you read this…we missed you greatly this year. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers and hopefully we will see you again. Nancy and Kyle. The only reason I watch Yard Crashers is Ahmed. He is not only entertaining and talented but also has integrity.
No will not watch. The new guy seems boring and not as knowledgable as Ahmed. Plus Ahmed is good looking and creative. Loved his work. My dad always said….
HGTV should have left Ahmed on yard crashers…. I want Ahmed back!! What next are you going to try to get rid of Josh Temple or Vern Yip? I miss Sandra and Clive too! I was disappointed when I discovered that Ahmed was not going to be host of Yard Crashers. No one can match his perfect personality for the program.
I was actually hoping they would develop more shows for him. He was a fountain of knowledge with a personality everyone loved. I watched for a few minutes and felt the show seemed forced and fake not fun and interesting like it always did with Ahmed. Please bring back Ahmed. He is cold and not engaging. Ahmed was a natural…nothing else to be said. I will have to see the new host Matt in action before passing judgment on his skills.
Matt is a looker though! Ahmed was great on that show. My mom and I use to watch him all the time. She is no longer with us but I know she would want me to experss our feeling about him leaving… big thumbs down. Ahmed was one of the most jovial, amiable, HOT hosts on any show anywhere. Maybe Oprah should sign him up on her network! Ahmed is awesome at communication and enthusiastic and informative without needing to be scripted.
I think the show will suffer eventually and DIY will as well. I support bringing back Ahmed. Too many program changes. Ahmed was a natural and easily made the everyone broaden their horizons and work for great makeovers. I wanted him to crash my back yard and deck area. Please bring Ahmed back!!!! When did Egypt Sherrod become a real estate expert.. And a good one; but Sandra Rinamato is a real estate expert with personality.
The same for Ahmed Hassan. He is a landscape expert with personality. Nothing against Egypt or Matt; but they feel more like fill-ins. Neither shows will be the same without Ahmed or Sandra. Their shows were about their passions. Ahmed was very entertaining as well as informative.
I can find something else to watch. Bring Ahmed back!!!! Just saw the first show with Matt Blashaw… Definitely not Ahmed… Not quite the same personality, not dynamic as Ahmed. Very different concepts about design. Regarding Sandra Rinomato: She actually made the decision to leave the show not HGTV to be closer to her family as the traveling was getting to be too much. I undertand people get invested in some of the hosts but guess what they are a dime a dozen and everyone is replaceable.
Get over it and grow up people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes homeowners can be pushy and even difficult but he always handled it with grace and humor! New guy is ok and should probably keep this show. People will stop watching Hgtv you have let all good people go there is no use of having the show with out Ahmed he was the best. Whataer u on up there u have lost so many people. Now u are just another loser show. It appears that Sandra left of her own accord, however it sounds like Ahmed was summarily replaced.
I tried to watch the new guy…the charm and humor are not there…he just tries to hard. My Saturday morning Yard Crash hours will now be spent on another network. I will not watch the new show without Ahmed. He made the show. I was so upset to see the new host on the show. Like many others, I too watched many hours of HGTV in previous years and find myself skipping past it.
My favorite show of all time was Divine Design with Candace Olsen which has been replaced with something else. I like Divine Design it seemed more her. I hope they get it together soon. Get the message??? I believe the people have spoken! Try listening! New host suuuuuuucks, his title is general contractor NOT landscaper. You could sense the passion and energy Ahmed brought to the show. I can watch Ahmeds episodes over and over as if it were the first time. Huuuuuge mistake DIY! Obviously someone made a decision hoping or thinking viewers are idiots and would just accept new show but new host is a big DUD!
Just lost another viewer. Wow, talk about bad decisions! I really enjoyed watching the Yard Crashers show with Ahmed as the host. He has a great personality, is full of positive energy and is extremely entertaining as the host. If HGTV is smart, they will allow him some time to get his personal life in a better place and then welcome him back with open arms as the host of Yard Crashers.
I wish you the very best Ahmed and look forward to seeing you back on television in the near future. Sounds like his home business was also suffering. The show is a big commitment that can interfere with normal life. I do not think this was an HGTV decision nor will a petition help.. The timing is just off. It seems like it was made to diffuse the negative backlash. If so his professionalism is impressive. This statement also indicates that he did not want to bite the had that fed him, another admirable quality.
He made reference to returning with a new show after his hiatus and will be touring garden shows across the country, hopefully allowing for some consultation. Just wishful thinking. Saturday and Sunday mornings are not the same. I looked forward to a cup of coffee and setting with my husband ooing and aughing over the great ideas. Then off to the home improvement store for the weekend projects. I hoped to find Ahmed there so he could help us out.
We really miss you Ahmed, we stopped watching not the same without you. It made sense to me that he would have to eventually be replaced, I think they all will if they want to keep the format of the show going… shows what I know, I guess…. He talked to everyone about his personal life, how he got to where he was as far as landscaping and being on the show, answered questions and gave tips to the audience AND stayed until he met everyone and signed autographs and took pictures.
Besides the fact that he is absolutely gorgeous, he is humble and hilarious. I think HGTV are the losers because he will not have a hard time finding another hosting gig. Her show seems a tad low-budget. Ahmed is the only host I would watch for yard crashers, he is extremely talented and personable, he has the ability to draw people to him and just fall in love with him.
I thought AH was on vacation or something. This really sucks!! But in my opinion their first mistake was replacing Rick Spence on Curb Appeal. I agree with you all. I use to luv HGTV, Designing for the Sexes, Decorating Cents and there was another show where they designed a room based on a high end room but for less.
Now it is totally commercial and seems to move away from the average person. My house is small and so is my budget. I use to get good tips from Hgtv, now it seems to be above my level budget wise.
I will not watch the show with Ahmed! He has a natural draw that gets even the couch potato my 2 fellas for example up and in the yard. Its a low blow for the network to not comment and deceive the viewers on the websites. Same on you. He was let go from our organization a couple of weeks ago.
I just woke up and turned on Yardcrashers. When I saw the new host once again I was like ok, let me Google what happened to Ahmed. I initially just thought that he was on vacation And happy to finally have my question answered.
I turned from it this morning too! I too also wondered what happed to the host of Property Virgins. Now I know. HGTV better get it together! Yesterday I watched a bunch of early morning crasher shows and wondered what happened to Ahmed. What on earth were they thinking?
I was still hoping to run into Ahmed one day at the Home Depot! Where does he live? I will not watch the show without Ahmed. He is yard crashers. When I saw the new host, I immediately went to their website and the way the site was set up, it looked like they were taking turns hosting.
Not one thing was said about Ahmed no longer being on the show. Very, very disappointed with yard crashers. Oh well, hopefully Ahmed will come back. I have been a faithful follower of Yard Crashers because Ahmed is so much fun, has so much energy and a great personality, and is not afraid to get his hands dirty. Unlike Ahmed, it seems like all the hosts from these other shows come from some kind of cookie cutter…just so bland and bleh.
It shows such contempt for their viewers, as if we are too stupid to notice. I have a daughter she is a single mother of three girls. She is working hard to afford a home for the girls. And her backyard needs a lot of help it is large with a lot of potential.
I really wish i could do more i do as much as i can when i come for the three day visit. I am 70 years old andd it is hard for me to do much. Do anyone remembers —Gardening By The Yard? HGTV is now more or less a —Home improvement channel selling ads! Us gardeners have no shows to watch! I love yard crashers and Ahmed Hassan gardeners dont have many shows left.
What ever happened to Paul James and Gardening with Patty? I totally understand why Ahmed would want time with family. Its very rare now days. I just love seeing him. I think that MATT, the new host is great and brings alot more to the show and we hope that they keep him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really miss Ahmed from Yard Crashers. His personality kept the show hopping. I miss what he brought to the show and therefore, my desire to watch has dwndled. Big mistake HGTV. My family and friends feel the same way.
I really miss Ahmed! I hope to see Ahmed back on TV soon! Matt Blashaw is a good contractor. It is a bit uncomfortable to watch and the cuter the wife the more flirty he is. Ahmed was just friendly. I hope he comes back in some capacity soon. He is a natural talent for TV. This is not the same show without Ahmad. Just not the same show anymore.
Ahmad just makes the show interesting. Ok I got tired of turning to watch Yard Crashers only to see that Ahmed was still gone! Like other posters I thought he was on vacation or just switching up for a while. Matter of fact, as of Jan. Matt seems uncomfortable. Same with House Hunters.
Why change what works? But when the network makes changes or gets rid of someone for no reason other than because they can, it cheapens the product. When the added Matt they should have somehow changed the format or changed the name. Love this site btw. Discovered it when googling for info on Ahmed. I am so tired of the executive nitwits at HGTV making unannounced changes without care or consideration to those of us who actually watch their programming AND support the sponsors of those shows.
Shame on HGTV. This actually came up in conversation with a couple of friends of mine. We all used to be professional landscapers. Yeah, a bit blahhh all around. We really miss Ahmed. None of us have watched more than 1 or 2 episodes, since he left. Great information. Lucky me I discovered your site by accident stumbleupon.
I have saved as a favorite for later! Just realized he is gone forever was tricked by the website too. New guy is okay, but Ahmed is why I watched the show anyway. I was a big fan of Ahmed until I saw him in person at a home show. He is so full of himself. Everyone that was in the audience was expecting some gardening hint, or behind the scenes info.
He said the show did not show him how he really is. Good thing, cause I would have stopped watching the show. His whole talk was about how great he is. He had others on stage with him to talk, but he managed to always direct the conversation back on himself. It was so boring. Not many people got up and left because we were trying to be polite. I wasted a big part of my time that day. I can understand why he was replaced. I have been searching all morning for a way to contact Yard Crashers!!!
Boy was I disappointed! He was one of the reasons we attended the show in the first place and were hoping to learn something about gardening in our new city.
ALL he did was talk about himself and how wonderful he is. I now know more about his life and family than I truly care to know. He is really high energy just like on the show but his ego is bigger than the building. I too, attended his home show. He was nothing but humble and honest! I really enjoyed hearing about how he came into landscaping.
His true fans want to know more about him! Never did he brag about himself or his very good looks! He was very interactive with the audience. Ahmed is a natural talent! Furthermore, he is kind and giving of himself. After his presentation, he took the time to talk with all of his fans. My impression was the show wanted him to do more peddling of product than actual landscaping. He did not say this. He only said they he and the show parted ways because of creative differences.
I thoroughly enjoyed his presentation…. I thought like others that he was on a vacation or that there were now 2 hosts. Well that just means less watching of HGTV from me. I wish him well. He has to continue to follow his dreams. I would only wish his return if that was what he wanted. I am infuriated that his show….. I was and will continue to be a loyal fan.
Hassan is doing what is best for he and his family. Look forward to see what new things he has planned. Not sure I can bare to watch His show with a new host. Glad to see he has so many supporters.
He made a very disrespectful joke when demoing around a statue of the Virgin Mary. He was much more talented and better to watch. HGTV needs new shows. What happend to Sabrina Soto, Ahmed, Sara, and others they used to have on. I rarely watch anymore. I miss the shows they had at the beginning.
Seems like HGTV has turned into nothing but a fancy real estate channel. I wonder how much they get from real estate sponsors. I cannot believe that they got rid of Ahmed. I have been a faithful admirer of the show from its very beginning. The humor that he constantly brought to the show and the amazing projects that he created with the families kept me glued to my chair. I have seen the new guy and he has got to go.
Ahmad was great! Wondered what happened, now I know. Networks do this all the time but I stop watching when they do! I will not watch with Matt as host. I used to enjoy so many of the HGTV shows. Actually the same goes for food network and their shows. It was the same for most of my family and friends. I think I can understand why Ahmed wanted to spend more time with his family; but I wonder what HGTV was thinking about getting rid of so many of their favorite and beloved host.
Was there not a possible ability of working out a compromise? Now all HGTV is a series of real estate shows.
Television is more of a wasteland than it has ever been. Even though there is cable, network, and other satellite broadcast I watch less television than I did when I only had aerial television. That does not bode good for the future of this medium since I find my friends and family with the same opinion.
It is a fairly young technology in a way; however I think its future limited. Perhaps television is like the nursing profession; it eats their young! I just finished watching Turf War. Now, back to bed. Thanks Ahmed, you are a joy.
